Thursday NFL Picks: Miami vs Carolina Odds

There is another Thursday night NFL game on the schedule this week and we'll tell you the betting picks in the Miami vs Carolina matchup.

Both teams in the Miami vs Carolina Thursday night NFL matchup come in at 4-5 on the season with both showing improvement of late. Miami and Carolina have both won 4 of their last 6 games after slow starts to the NFL season. Miami has covered the point spread NFL betting odds in 4 of their last 6 games as well, while Carolina has managed a cover in 4 of their last 5 games against the spread.

This is a meaningful game to both teams as the winner will still have a good shot at the post-season. The NFL betting odds for the Miami vs Carolina contest show the home team Panthers as 3-point favorites over the Miami Dolphins. The total has slipped from an opening number of 44 to roughly 42.5 at most sports books.

Looking past this game, there are many meaningful match-ups in the Week 11 NFL Schedule, including some divisional match-ups that should show fireworks. All leading up to a not so stellar Monday Night Football game in Houston, where the Texans will try to sweep the season series with Tennessee, a team that is on the rise.

On Sunday afternoon, Dallas will try and bounce back against the Redskins as double digit favorites in their game. Dallas will win, but I would certainly predict a covering of the point spread by the Redskins. It is a division game, and there is no way that the Cowboys are just going to sail right through in that contest.

Indy got past the Patriots, and now bettors have their guard down in this week's game, as they will face Baltimore on the road. The Colts will lose this game in my opinion. The line was favoring Baltimore early but now has favored Indy -1. The Ravens didn't look so hot this past Monday but will step up and hand Indy their first loss.

Pittsburgh is laying 10 in Kansas City, after they were handed a series sweep from Cincy, who will travel to Oakland for a seemingly easy contest. Atlanta against the Giants shapes up to be the game of the week in the NFL week 11 schedule, as the loser of this game will be 5-5, and have a tough road to the postseason. Both of these teams have floundered in the last few weeks.

The point spread in Jacksonville and Tampa Bay are pretty high this weekend. The Jags are laying a 9 point spread against Buffalo who benched Edwards, and fired Jauron. The Bills will be game in this one, as they won in Carolina, and can win in Jacksonville. The Bucs are getting heavy points as home dogs against the undefeated Saints. I like what Tampa has done over the last few weeks, and they will show up Sunday. Not only will this team cover the heavy point spread, but they have a great chance to knock off New Orleans this weekend.

Look for a few upsets in the Week 11 NFL Schedule, as we are at that point in the season where strange things tend to happen. Good Luck to all bettors this NFL week 11 weekend.
