This week there are great betting odds in the first half in the NFL's Saints vs Bucs early game.
Our Saints vs Bucs NFL prediction pick comes off of a solid angle that has already became successful in this year's wagers on first half action.
On Sunday the Saints come into Tampa with an undefeated record,
and a heavy point spread as road favorites. The Bucs are just 1-8 on
the season, but have shown tremendous life with their newly found
talent in Josh Freeman. Tampa played tight football in both of last
year's meetings, and won outright and against the spread in last
season's home meeting with the Saints.

The Saints have been talked about as being a lackluster team over
the last several weeks. Despite the two New York teams giving away
their games vs. New Orleans, the Saints have yet to roll over anyone in
recent weeks. The Dolphins gave up their lead only to lose and miss a
cover as well. Atlanta, Carolina, and even the Rams all hung around in
their match-ups with New Orleans and all covered the double digit point
spreads. We are in another instance where there is a double digit point
spread, but the better odds are on the home team in the first half.
As predicted previously, the Saints have been behind at the half
as far as the point spread goes, in almost all their road games this
season. The only time it didn't occur was in week 1 at Philly. At
Buffalo, the Saints were up by 3 at the half and failed to cover the
spread at the half. In Miami, they were down at the half, losing
another point spread cover. In St. Louis last week, the Rams were tied
at the half gaining a cover against the spread in the first 30 minutes
of play. Look for the Bucs to either lead or have this one tight at the
half.
This Tampa team has changed with their new QB. They took Miami to
the wire last week leading with under a minute to play, on the road,
and more importantly, won against Green Bay. This team is showing life
and should not be taken lightly. Remember the most important fact, that
dome teams struggle in outside conditions on the road, against a heavy
spread, especially in first halves. Look for a 17-14 halftime score
with the Bucs easily covering the 7 point spread. I would also look
into a prediction on the Bucs +10.5 for the game.
