Bookmaker.com currently has the Tennessee Titans as 3-point favorites on the point spread for the NFL preseason HOF game which is set to take place at 8 PM EST on August 9th. The game will be aired live on NBC and is set to be broadcast nationally.
The offensive players who will help the Tennessee Titans cover the point spread in the NFL preseason Hall of Fame game:
Chris Johnson – Johnson is looking to become the first Tennessee running back with back-to-back 1000 yard rushing seasons since Eddie George did so in the 2002 and 2003 seasons and the speedy back from East Carolina should be able to do just that if he stays healthy. He gained 1228 yards in his rookie campaign while his backfield mate, Lendale White, lead the AFC with 15 rushing touchdowns. The two make for a great combo and are primed for another big year.

The defensive players who will help the Tennessee Titans cover the point spread in the NFL preseason HOF game:
Michael Griffin – Griffin tied for 2nd in the NFL with 7 interceptions last season and is a ball hawk that always seems to put himself in a great position to make a game changing play. The Texas graduate has shown great hands and will only get better as he gets more seasoning in the NFL preseason.
Jacob Ford – Ford will be expected to take over some of the pass-rushing responsibilities following the offseason loss of burly defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth. His 7 sacks were 2nd behind Haynesworth on the Titans last season and Ford will be asked to do even more to get to the quarterback and disrupt the passing game this year.
