The first part of the qualifying is all wrapped up and we’ll try to find the best value amongst the 2010 Daytona 500 betting odds.
Mark Martin and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. are set for the front row of the Daytona 500 after strong efforts in the Budweiser Shootout while the other drivers will have to do well in the Budweiser Duel races if they want a top spot in the pole positions.
It’s not a big surprise that BoDog Sportsbook has those two drivers amongst the favorites for the Daytona 500 with Earnhardt, Jr. at 15/2 betting odds and Martin at 10/1. Sign-up for an account and get a 10% free cash bonus that you can use for betting on the 2010 Daytona 500!
Martin is the oldest Daytona 500 pole winner and it’s also the best chance ever for the 51-year old driver to take home a title. Martin has been quoted as saying, “This is the best shot I've had.”
We won’t know the rest of the official Daytona 500 pole positions until the Budweiser Duel Races on February 11th (odds for those are up on BoDog Sportsbook as well) but that hasn’t stopped the NASCAR lines from being released for this incredible February 14th race.
Jeff Gordon and Kyle Busch were the top finishers of each Budweiser Duel race last year and the two are available at 9/1 and 15/2 betting odds respectively for the 2010 Daytona 500. Earnhardt, Jr. and Kyle Busch are the Daytona 500 favorites while Jimmie Johnson is another driver at 10/1 odds. Other favorites for the 2010 Daytona 500 include Denny Hamlin at 12/1, Kurt Busch, Juan Pablo Montoya, and Kevin Harvick at 14/1, with Carl Edwards at 16/1. Last year’s Daytona 500 pole winner Martin Truex, Jr. is a 30/1 long shot while youngster Joey Logano will pay off 25 times your bet if he takes home the 2010 Daytona 500.
