Duke is going to struggle in their second round game so take the Longhorns on the March Madness betting odds.

The Duke Blue Devils come into this game with a 29-6 record on the season and a first round cover of the March Madness betting odds that saw them win over Binghamton as 23.5-point favorites but you should expect some big issues in round two as they get set to take on the Texas Longhorns (23-11).

The problem is they really only shoot well when they are playing on their home court because on the road this season they have only scored 70.1 points per game on 41.7% shooting.

Duke will have to deal with a solid Texas defense that has limited their opponents to just 65.4 points per game on 40.6% shooting allowed. 

Duke’s defense is nothing special and the Texas offense has proven this season they can rack up points while shooting just as well as the Blue Devils in field goal percentage. 

The Dukies have been the better college basketball betting pick this season with a 17-16-1 record compared to 12-18-1 for Texas but it has to be the Longhorns and those generous points as your bet here.
