The Niners and Bears will get together on Thursday Night Football
on the NFL Network and the
NFL odds and betting picks are handicapped by our resident expert. This game will start the week 10 schedule in the
NFL, with a ton of big games on tap for a fun filled pro football
weekend.
The Bears surely need this game more, and throw in the facts that
the public is leaning on San Fran at home. This one should finish up a
23-20 game with the Bears on top. I feel that the move for Shaun Hill
was a bad one. Alex Smith did show promise early on, but has fallen
into the same old realm he was in when he was replaced as starter. San
Fran might as well throw in the towel on their season, because Alex
Smith is not the answer. He will overshadow Crabtree and Gore with his
bad play, and cost this team a shot at the playoffs. Bears to win
outright, and cover the spread on Thursday.

After that game is said and done, there are plenty more
meaningful games this weekend in the NFL week 10 schedule. For
starters, there are 6 division games to be played. Looking at all of
those games, pretty much all of them are meaningless games between the
teams, but are important to at least one of the teams. The Pittsburgh
Cincy game will cap off the division rival weekend. Cincy got the best
of Pitt in their last meeting winning outright and covering the point
spread. This time around, I feel that Pittsburgh will get some revenge,
and on top of it, cover the hefty point spread, due to that fact that
it is a hefty touchdown basically. Cincy has had no issues covering any
point spreads as dogs this season, but this is a good spot for Steelers
backers in the week 10 NFL Schedule.
There aren't many titaninc match-ups on Sunday afternoon, but
every game has some meaning to at least one team. Some early
predictions being given, and I would lean on teams like KC, Tennesee,
Jets, and the Pack. Green Bay has one of the better match-ups of the
week, as they get to play at home against the hottest up and coming
team in the NFC. Dallas is on a role, but I feel that the cold, and the
road atmosphere will be too much for them to handle. Green Bay needs
this one more and they will get it. Solid play against the spread on
Sunday.
As far as the biggest and best, it would have to be the Sunday
Night Pats and Colts match-up. New England will knock off Indy, and
hand them their first loss of the season. If any one team can beat
Indy, it is Brady and New England. Look for a cover against the betting
odds in that one, but more importantly, the Patriots coming out of Indy
with a win.
