Colts at Jaguars Spread and Pick

The betting odds suggest a nice spread pick in Thursday’s NFL game featuring the Colts and the Jaguars and it might not be the team that many like.

The NFL Network’s premier Thursday night football game will pit the road-team Indianapolis Colts (10-4) against the home-team Jacksonville Jaguars (5-9) and this game is going to be much more competitive than many people believe so you’ll want to take advantage of these generous underdog betting odds.

SBGglobal.com lists the Jaguars as 6-point underdogs on the betting line but they are a nice point spread pick at that price despite the fact they have only been the point spread betting pick in 4 of their 14 games this season.

The Colts have been the correct point spread betting pick in 6 of their games this season but are getting a very nice amount of attention from the betting public after winning their last 7 games outright.

The Colts have been barely covering the betting odds despite their huge winning streak and a big reason has to be that their offense has not established the running game that made them one of the most dangerous offenses in the NFL last year.

Indianapolis is very one-dimensional on offense while the Jaguars have a good mix of run and pass that should be able to keep this game close as the Jaguars use their strong running game to eat up clock and thus make it more probable for the winning point spread betting pick to be on the home underdog.

Both of these NFL defences are struggling but with these teams being so close in skill on both sides of the ball and the Jaguars being at home, you have to like them as the underdog point spread betting pick.  A healthy dose of Jacksonville running back Maurice Jones-Drew should get the point spread cover here.
