Florida vs LSU is the best college football game this weekend and we’ll look at the odds in the Gators vs Tigers matchup.

SBGglobal Sportsbook has college football odds in the Florida vs LSU game favoring the road-team Gators by 9.5 on the point spread over the Tigers.  The total for this Saturday night game is set at 46 and we have some late breaking injury news to make note of.

The biggest injury in college football this entire week has been Florida quarterback Tim Tebow’s concussion and weather or not he would be able to play against the Tigers.  Late news coming out just hours before kickoff is that the Heisman Trophy winner will be on the field and you’ll want to get on the Gators’ odds because of it.

There are some important betting trends in the Florida vs LSU game and the most important ones favoring the Gators are the fact that they have covered the college football odds in 11 of their last 12 road games, 13 of the last 16 in conference, and 17 of the last 21 against winning teams.  They know how to win.  Meanwhile, the LSU Tigers have failed to cover the odds in 14 of their last 16 homes games and 9 of their last 12 overall.

LSU’s offense is not particularly strong and they’ll be hard pressed to move the ball against a terrific Florida defense.  The Gators have one of the best offenses in college football and will score 20-30 here which should be more then enough to cover the betting odds against the Tigers.

Florida won by 30 points last year and easily covered the odds that saw them favored by 6.5 on the point spread.  This year, it won’t be quite as easy but it still should be easy.
