The week 11 College football rankings have just came out and we'll update you on the polls before the BCS Standings come out.
Florida regains their top spot in both the AP and USA Today polls while Oregon was the only team to drop out of the week 11 college football rankings after their loss to Stanford moved them to #16 in both sets of standings. Oregon was #7 previously and somehow fell behind 2-loss (and fresh off Oregon dominating them) USC who somehow is in 10th in the week 11 college football rankings.
Before we get underway with the college football week 11 rankings we'd like to thank Bookmaker Sportsbook (our award winner for "Best Sportsbook 2008") for sponsoring the polls. The BCS Standings should come out earlier this week and we’ll be sure to update you on how those polls ended up but for now it looks like Texas is narrowly holding off Alabama for the #2 spot in the college football week 11 rankings with the TCU Horned Frogs jumping both #5 Cincinnati and #6 Boise State to take over the #4 spot in the week 11 standings.
Georgia Tech is now #7 in the week 11 college football polls and they moved up 3 spots in the rankings with Ohio State going from #15 to #8. Pittsburgh went from #14 to #9 in the week 11 college football rankings while LSU dropped down to #11 after their loss to Alabama.
Houston is now at #12 in the standings despite getting lucky to beat a very average Tulsa team in the final seconds and this team has not looked worthy of being in the polls the last few weeks despite coming out with wins.
Iowa lost their first game and went all the way from #8 to #13 in the week 11 college football rankings while West Virginia at #23, South Florida at #24, and Auburn at #25 entered the standings after not being ranked in the polls last week.
