Quality Road

Many are concerned with a potential injury to one of the Kentucky Derby favorites but Quality Road  is the best of them all.

Quality Road has everything you’d look for in a potential Kentucky Derby winner with a great pedigree, excellent finishes, awesome recent works, and an experienced jockey who has competed with the best of the best in the Kentucky Derby lineup 10 times now.

The pedigree comes from sire Elusive Quality who was incredible at longer races while setting two track records over his career.

Smarty Jones was the 1st Elusive Quality horse to beat out the Kentucky Derby lineup (2004) and Quality Road has an incredible shot to be #2.

Quality Road would likely be the highest of the Kentucky Derby favorites if he was completely healthy but he has a small crack in his on his right-hind quarter that has kept the price on him close to 6/1 at many sportsbooks.

The thing about that crack is that the trainers are saying it’s not something that will affect the horse at all and have called the injury similar to the one Big Brown had going into this race last year.

TheOnlinewire.com teamed up with our preferred online racebooks, Bodog Racebook and SBG Global Racebook to bring our readers the latest news and the best odds to bet on each of its three legs and on the 2009 edition of the Triple Crown.

Both Bodog Racebook and SBG Global Racebook provide horse wagering enthusiasts the highest wagering standards along with enticing promotions and sign up bonuses and financial safety.

If anyone did not want to take the trainers’ word for it, then you can look at this horse’s recent works at Belmont Park and rest assured Quality Road will be at 100%.

He finished a 6 furlong in just 1:12:03 and this horse really should be the favorite on the Kentucky Derby betting odds.  Don’t be scared off by his pseudo injury because Quality Road doesn’t seem to be worried.

TheOnlinewire.com, in cooperation with Bodog Racebook and SBG Global Racebook, will provide daily updates, news and the latest odds on the Triple Crown 2009 and its individual legs starting with the 135th running of the Kentucky Derby on May 2nd
