The UFC 106 weigh ins have just finished up and we’ll update you with the results and action from Friday night’s event.
We just watched the official UFC 106 weigh ins and now it’s time to report on the results. There wasn’t much anger or hatred at the UFC 106 weigh ins but there were a few things to discuss that were interesting.
First off, Phil Baroni made the UFC 106 weigh ins entertaining. The guy is simply hilarious. Mark Laimon was again in his Star Wars costume at the UFC 106 weigh ins and it doesn’t look like the last time we’ll see some characters in the ring during a post-fight interview.
The start of the UFC 106 weigh ins was fairly standard and the results showed no one missing weight. When the main card fighters started to take to the scale the action got a little bit better and Amir and Baroni joked around a bit before Nogueira and Cane took to the scales and made weight.
Next up at the UFC 106 weigh ins was Paulo Thiago and Jacob Volkmann with the results showing both made weight before getting into the staredown.

Anthony “Rumble” Johnson and Josh “Kos” Koscheck were next up on the scales and Johnson got booed. I’m guessing it had something to do with him missing weight by a large amount at the UFC 105 weigh ins. The results showed a perfect 170 for Johnson this time around so it doesn’t appear he’ll have to move up in weight classes just yet. Koscheck had positive results at the UFC 106 weigh ins as well and both guys looked ripped.
Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin are the last results at the UFC 106 weigh ins and both made weight without any problems. Tito has no funny shirt today. Ortiz gets right in Forrest’s face while Griffin keeps his hands at his side and returns a smug smile. Forrest gets the short end of the stick from the fans.
Those are your UFC 106 results for the weigh ins. Make sure to tune in tomorrow to see the action go down.
