Michael Lynche Prepares For American Idol Top 16 Tonight

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

It’s worth it to take a shot on Michael Lynche’s American Idol betting odds as the voting process takes place during tonight’s episode.

You might remember Michael Lynche as the new father that wowed judges after performing “It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World” by James Brown and Betty Jean Newsome.  Ellen DeGeneres went as far as to say that Lynche is “now the one to beat”, while Simon Cowell noted that it was “by far the best performance you've given”.

After all that praise, you’d expect Lynche to be one of the favorites to become the winner of the 2010 American Idol season.  That simply is not the case, and BoDog Sportsbook still has him as one of the underdogs at 40/1 odds heading into tonight’s episode of male performances.

Michael Lynche has definitely taken a big step forward after last week, and we highly recommend taking advantage of those betting odds considering the fact that 2009 American Idol winner Kris Allen was a 150/1 long shot last time around.  That means a bet on him at that number would have paid off $15,000 for every $100 you wagered on him to win!

Lynche needs to step it up once again during tonight’s performance, but many are voting for him because of the fact that his “new father” story is so relatable.   The betting odds for Michael Lynche will be up at BoDog Sportsbook after Friday’s elimination episode, so make sure to sign-up for an account now before placing a vote for our favorite long shot from season 9 of American Idol!
