Another day in history will be made Saturday, April 29 at Radio City Music Hall, when all teams in the NFL make their 2006 selections for the NFL Draft. Rounds 1 through 3 will be held on Saturday with the first pick being made shortly after noon ET and the last pick being made at approximately 10 p.m.

There’s no bandwagon in my neck of the woods! It’s opening week in baseball and I’m still running with the Reds. So what, some predict the Reds to finish last in their division and who cares if Sports Illustrated predict the Reds falling in 28th overall. They’ll come around eventually, maybe not this year but sometime in the future.

The Cincinnati Reds’ pitching was the National Leagues worst in 2005, yielding a 5.19 ERA. The staff gave up more hits, more runs, and more home runs than any team in the league. Hopefully, last season will not be repeated because there were no improvements made to the staff. I can't possibly see the Reds doing much better this season. The fault lies directly at the Reds’ inability to develop starting pitching in recent years.
