– Tajaaweed, 15-1

– Sidney’s Candy, 3-1

– Dance And Dance, 8-1

– Zoffany, 3-1

– Gio Ponti, 5-2

– Get Storm, 5-1

Shadwell Turf Mile – Early Thoughts and Tips:

Gio Ponti is the worthy favorite, but many are expecting Irish invader Zoffany to compete with him after some impressive European performances.  Dance And Dance is coming off a poor 6th place finish in the Woodbine Mile but is another invader that packs a ton of potential.  Sidney’s Candy is, in my opinion, on his ideal track and distance and could figure into the equation.  Get Stormy has failed a bit against the better turf horses and I think his odds fall a bit before post time to the 8-1 or 9-1 territory.  Tajaaweed drew the inside spot in the Shadwell Turf Mile post positions and is probably the toughest horse in the 2011 field to figure out.
