MLS Betting Preview: MLS All-Stars vs. Manchester United

Thierry Henry and David Beckham are out to score as MLS All-Stars take on Manchester United for a second year in a row.

In the last year edition of the MLS All-Stars Game the Red Devils of the English Premier League, Manchester United, became the first ever International Team to beat the MLS All-Stars, in a humiliating 5-2 victory.

The MLS teams hold a 6-1-1 record In the eight previous times they have taken on international competitors in the All-Star Game. In the 2011 AT&T MLS All-Star Game, The United States Major League Soccer best players will look for revenge against Man Utd.

The least loved player by Britsh fans, Thierry Henry, leads the MLS scoreboard with 11 goals. Henry will feel right at home since the match takes place at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey, where he currently plays. Landon Donovan will not play in the MLS All Stars game due to a calf strain.

Odds makers seem to have little hope the MLS All Stars Team, pricing them as HUGE underdogs (+550). Opponent Manchester United is clear favorite (-275) while a draw is also seen as unlikely (+375).

Spearheading the Red Devils offence will be one of the least charming yet most impressive players in the Premier League, Wayne Rooney. "Sometimes in games the emotions do take over," Rooney recently said at a public event. "You do things you regret afterward. That is part of the game."

With such declaration of war expect lots of passion, plenty of actions, F+%& words flying left and right, goals, legal and less-than legal tackles, yellow and possibly red cards. In other words, a game to watch, regardless of its outcome.
