NASCAR Sprint Cup Series | Lenox Industrial Tools 301 Odds & Predictions

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series is at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

This gives us plenty of time to check out the NASCAR Betting Odds of both top contenders and long shots, as well as make some predictions on the race.

Today we present NASCAR Betting Odds courtesy of 5Dimes Sportsbook. Needless to remind, all odds are subject to change without notice.

Denny Hamlin (15/2), Kurt Busch (15/2), and Tony Stewart (15/2) are odds makers top favourites to win the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

NHMS is a flat, 1.0-mile oval, the perfect race course for Kurt Busch. He has one win and four top-five placements in 12 starts at the NHMS. Also to keep into consideration, Busch has not finished worse than 11th in four starts since 2009.

This said, here is my predictions for Kurt Busch. A non flattering outcome in today's Nationwide Series New England 200 could push Busch to the edge, making him top pick in the Lenox Industrial Tools 301. He needs a win in either race to become the third driver in history to score 100 wins across NASCAR’s three national series.

Tony Stewart usually fares well at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Stewart has two career wins at New Hampshire and finished second in this event last year. These are my predictions for Tony Stewart. He needs a win here to reclaim hopes to make the Chase for the Championship. Eleventh in points and still chasing his first win of the season, Stewart must get cracking, or he is out of NASCAR's playoffs.

Kyle Busch (8/1), Jimmie Johnson (17/2), Jeff Gordon (17/2) Kevin Harvick (11/1) all come right behind the top three in odds makers rankings for the Lenox Industrial Tools 301.

First of my two favourite long shots is Clint Bowyer. His NASCAR Betting Odds currently sitting at 11/1,  Bowyer is the most recent winner on this track with last year's Sylvania 300 win. This element supports my favorable predictions for Clint Bowyer. Twelveth in the Cup standings, Bowyer could enormously benefit from his first win of the season. Just like Tony Stewart, Clint Bowyer is likely to become noble victim of NASCAR's new wild-card system.

This year the number of wins by drivers in positions 11 through 20 in the standings after 26 races will determine who makes the Chase for the Championship and who does not. Last week at Kentucky Bowyer finished 35th and dropped to 12th in the Cup standings. As we have just seen, Twelveth is no longer enough to qualify for the Chase.

Carl Edwards (13/1), Ryan Newman (16/1), Juan Pablo Montoya (18/1), Jeff Burton (22/1), Brad Keselowski (27/1), and Greg Biffle (33/1) NASCAR Betting odds stand between Bowyer and my second choice long shot to win the Lenox Industrial Tools 301, Dale Earnhardt Jr. (33/1).

Disappointing 30th last week at Kentucky, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is far from being back in the game. Nearly winning two races and after three consecutive Top-10 finishes, Earnhardt Jr. reached a season-high third in the points standings. Thingh have changed since, and Dale needs an impressive result at Sunday’s Lenox Industrial Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. My predictions take these factors into consideration: Dale has never won at NHMS; however, career average running position of 11.3 at NHMS is valid for fifth. Last year he finished eighth in the summer and fourth in the fall at this race course.

Kasey Kahne (33/1), David Reutimann (33/1), Matt Kenseth (38/1), Mark Martin (43/1), Martin Truex Jr. (43/1), Joey Logano (44/1), Jamie McMurray (80/1), and David Ragan (80/1) close odds makers rankings for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Lenox Industrial Tools 301.
