UFC 133 | Phil Davis pulls out because of knee injury

UFC 133 organizers are rushing to rearrange the event's fight card as the main event fighter Phil Davis announces to pull out because of a knee injury.
This is the kind of news sports event organizers fear the most; with Phil Davis pulling out of UFC 133, UFC has little over three weeks to find a replacement for a fight that is a title eliminator.
There's a little irony in the news. Phil Davis had agreed to fight Evans on short notice after Jon Jones, initially slated to fight against Rashad Evans in the UFC 133 main event, pulled out of the match after doctors recommended him to undergo surgery to repair ligaments in his right hand.
According to the UFC grapevine Lyoto Machida would be UFC’s first choice to replace Davis. However, this may not be possible because he just fought at the end of April, beating Randy Couture at UFC 129.
