College Football Preview: 2013 BCS Championship Game Odds

2013 BCS Championship Game

2013 BCS Championship Game odds are up and we’ll preview where the contenders currently rank.

The USC Trojans are currently the 3/1 favorites to win the 2013 BCS Championship Game, but there are quite a few other top contenders that have a great chance to take home the trophy at the end of the upcoming season.  The Trojans have the luxury of playing a fairly easy schedule thanks to the Pac-12 being down quite a bit this year, while other top contenders in the power conferences have to deal with a much stronger slate of opposition.

Bookmaker Sportsbook has lines up on nearly every college football squad that looks like they might contend for top honors in college football this season, and we highly recommend placing your bet on the 2013 BCS Championship Game winner with them.  They are offering our readers a 15% cash bonus on top of their first deposit and you can apply the free money toward your bet on the 2013 BCS Championship Game future odds.

The Alabama Crimson Tide won the National Title last year but has suffered a hit in terms of departing players.  That being said, Alabama is still loaded with talent and comes in as the 9/2 2nd choice in the BCS Championship odds.  Alabama bested the LSU Tigers in the BCS Championship Game last year after losing to them in the regular season, and this SEC rivalry looks to carry over for another year as the 2nd place squad from the SEC is currently at 6/1 odds to take home the college football title in 2012-2013.

Although the SEC and the Pac-12 dominate most of the top spots in the standings, there are some other conferences that expect to have a say in deciding who wins the trophy.  The Oklahoma Sooners are at 7/1 in the Big 12 with Texas not far behind at 15/1.  Florida State looks like the pride of the ACC and is at 8/1 odds to win the 2013 BCS Championship Game, while Notre Dame comes in at 30/1 odds as an independent.

The Big-10 doesn’t look to be overly strong this year and both Nebraska and Wisconsin lead the way there at 40/1 odds to win the 2013 BCS Championship Game.  Virginia Tech comes in at 40/1 odds out of the ACC, while Boise State at 50/1 odds out of the Mountain West is considered more likely to win it all than any Big East team according to Las Vegas.  There are actually 4 independent or Mountain West teams listed ahead of the first Big East squad with Virginia leading the way at 300/1 odds out of that conference.

Listed below are the elite teams amongst the 2013 BCS Championship Game contenders, but there are roughly 40 other squads with longer odds for those looking to get rich on picking a long shot.  Click on the link to Bookmaker Sportsbook if you want to see the complete list and place a bet on your favorite squad to win it all next season!
