2011-2012 NBA Championship – Worst Bets:

Miami Heat – This one returns less than 2-to-1 odds, and the Heat are behind the Bulls in the Eastern Conference Standings right now.  With Chicago being 10-1 at home this year, Miami could easily struggle.  This line is a joke.

New York Knicks – Everyone is in love with Jeremy Lin right now, but the fact of the matter is that the Knicks still don’t play defense.  Teams that can’t match up defensively just don’t win championships, so just sit back and enjoy the highlights but don’t expect this team to win a ring.

2011-2012 NBA Championship – Best Bets:

San Antonio Spurs – They have all the experience in the world and have added the youth necessary to compete.  The Spurs are just 1.5 games in back of the top spot in the Western Conference and there are few teams in the game that can stop Tim Duncan.

Atlanta Hawks – This team is struggling badly right now after some key injuries, but the Hawks are one of the streakier teams in the league.  They’ve played well on the road and can take out anyone in the NBA on any given night.  At 50-1 odds, this play has legs.
